These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Solano Laser Craft website and the purchase of products through it (the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order or otherwise using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

Use of the Site

You may use our Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Services in any way that violates applicable law, infringes the rights of others, or interferes with the operation of the site.

Product Descriptions and Pricing

We attempt to describe and display our products, including custom and engraved items, as accurately as possible. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions, images, or other content are accurate, complete, or error-free — colors and finishes may vary slightly due to the nature of laser engraving and individual monitor display settings. Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice, and we reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to limit quantities or refuse orders at our discretion.

Orders and Payments

When you place an order through the Services, you authorize us to charge the payment method you provide for the order total, including any applicable taxes and shipping charges shown at checkout. Orders are subject to acceptance and availability, and we reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order.

Custom Orders and Submitted Artwork

Many of our products are made to order using customer-supplied images, text, or artwork. By submitting a custom order, you agree to the terms in our separate Custom File Use & Ownership Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Among other things, that policy provides that you must hold the rights to any artwork you submit, and that you grant us a limited license to reproduce it in order to produce your order.

Unless you tell us otherwise at the time of your order, you also grant Solano Laser Craft permission to photograph the finished product and to use those photographs in our website gallery, on social media, and in our other marketing materials. Because our work is personalized, those photographs may show the names, dates, monograms, or artwork engraved on the piece. We do not publish your original uploaded files, and we do not identify you as the customer or share your contact information. If you would prefer that we not share your piece, tell us when you place your order or contact us at support@solanolasercraft.com.

Shipping, Returns, and Refunds

Shipping methods, production times, and local delivery are described in our Shipping Policy. Returns, cancellations, and refunds — including the fact that custom and personalized items are final sale once production begins — are described in our Refund & Returns Policy. Both policies are incorporated into these Terms by reference, and the terms stated in them control.

Intellectual Property

All content on this site — including our logo, product photography, designs, and site content — is owned by Solano Laser Craft or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.

User Conduct and Prohibited Content

You agree not to submit, upload, or request the engraving of any content that:

• Infringes the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of a third party;
• Is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, threatening, or harassing;
• Depicts or promotes violence, illegal activity, or exploitation of any person; or
• Violates any applicable law or regulation.

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or stop production of any order containing such content, in our sole discretion, without liability to you.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Solano Laser Craft and its owners, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Services or purchase of any product, whether based in contract, tort, or otherwise. Our total liability for any claim arising from your order shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services and all products are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, except as expressly stated in these Terms or required by law.

Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Solano County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

Dispute Resolution

Before filing a formal claim, we encourage you to contact us directly so we can try to resolve the issue informally.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
